Hawkfeather blinked his eyes open and emerged from the warrior's den silently. He began to think about the Dawn patrol. He decided that the first three cats up would go with him.
Hawkfeather's pelt had brushed against Crystalfire as he left the den, so she got up as well. "Crystalfire, would you like to join me on the patrol?" He offered. She nodded.
"Sure, but can Blizzardpaw come too?" Hawkfeather nodded. Crystalfire ran to the apprentice den and poked her sleeping friend. "Wake up and you can come on the Dawn Patrol with me and Hawkfeather!"
Blizzardpaw blinked and yawned. "Coming." She stretched and padded after her best friend.
